Meet Alex, Founder of ALEXCRAFT
Over the years, we've heard a recurring concern from our customers: they loved the look of their jewelry, but discomfort often made it difficult to wear throughout the day. I experienced the same thing with a pair of sculptural silver earrings with baroque pearls that I loved, but often had to take off by the afternoon. These shared experiences led me to rethink how we design jewelry for everyday life.
I've spent 15 years working in jewelry design and development, and over the past 10 years, the team I've led has sold more than 5 million pieces of fashion jewelry. I've learned so much from working with suppliers, developing products, and listening to customers. That experience has taught me something simple: a beautiful design means even more when it works for the person wearing it.
I know how much that matters because my own days are pretty full, too. I'm a mom, I work, I love staying active, and I try to make time for the people and things I enjoy. Some days it's yoga or Pilates, work, time at home, and maybe squeezing in coffee with a friend. Through all of it, I still want to feel like myself. I want to wear jewelry I love without giving it a second thought.
That's what led me to rethink the direction of ALEXCRAFT. I never wanted to lose the little details that make jewelry special, from unexpected shapes to beautiful textures and pieces that catch your eye. But I wanted to bring the same attention to how jewelry feels, how it moves with us, and how naturally it fits into everyday life. I don't believe women should have to choose between looking good, feeling comfortable, and doing the things they love.
We're all living life in our own way, at our own pace. And if there's one thing I've come to believe, it's that the jewelry we choose should make room for all of it.That's the ALEXCRAFT I'm building. And I hope you'll find a little piece of yourself in it.
