I think this is what I wanted from a wide band all along — enough width to have a presence, enough texture to make it interesting, but still simple enough to wear every day. It doesn't feel like a ring I'll get tired of quickly.
From a distance it looks like a clean, classic wide band. Up close, you notice the flowing texture and tapered width. I really like that it has two different looks depending on how you see it.
The texture is subtle until the light hits it. Then you get these little changes across the band instead of one flat reflection. That's probably my favorite detail.
I've been wearing the gold-tone version with some silver and mixed-metal rings, and the texture helps everything work together. It doesn't look like I'm trying too hard to match every piece.
The inside being smooth makes a bigger difference than I expected. Even though the outside has texture, there's nothing rough against my finger. It feels much cleaner to wear than some textured rings I've tried.
